Program Director
Tish Poorman has worked in the performing arts field for over 30 years. She was the founder of the first children’s theater in Collier County, The SW Florida Children’s Theater from 1988-2002, and also implemented many after-school theater programs throughout the area. After a short break from theater she opened Children For The Arts in 2004. Ms. Poorman also provides private vocal/acting classes for children and adults as well as working with voice over actors. She has worked with artists who have appeared on The Voice and American Idol, and also works in the recording and music video field.

Zachary has been with Children For The Arts for over a decade starting as an actor and progressed to directing some years later. His resume has amassed more than 45 performances including Narrator/The Wizard of Oz; Snoopy/It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown; Willy Wonka/Charlie and the Chocolate Factory; Super Soldier/Nabucco; Ensemble/Les Misérables, Stephano/The Tempest; Touchstone/As You Like It; Benedict/Much Ado About Nothing and many more. He has directed over 15 shows for CFTA and is now acting as Production Consultant.

Grace has been involved with Children For The Arts on and off the stage for the past three years. She has performed as Daisy/Snow White & The Seven Dwarfs; Narrator/ Sleeping Beauty; Baker/ Aladdin; Tendai/The Jungle Book. While she loves being an actress, she began to realize working back-stage and helping other actors and actresses was more of her style.

Julie is currently a Freshman at Gulf Coast High School. Her first show as a performer at Children For The Arts was
Cinderella and she’s been helping out ever since. She loves to be onstage but
decided she wanted to experience more within the theatre world.

Kararose is a sophomore at Naples High School. Kararose loves to sing, act, and is in her schools theater class. She has been in multiple productions with CFTA including Duchess /Alice In Wonderland; Witch of the South /Wizard of Oz; Cinderella /Cinderella; Mrs. Bucket /Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory and many more. She loves to work with kids of all ages and is very excited to be behind the scenes this year.
